How do I access RDPE Funding?

RDPE will be delivered by three different organisations Natural England, Forestry Commission and One NorthEast.

Natural England and the Forestry Commission will be responsible for the Natural and Cultural Assets theme. This comprises of the agri-environment schemes including Environmental Stewardship (ES) and the English Woodland Grant Scheme (EWGS).

For more information about the delivery of these schemes please click here.

One NorthEast will be responsible for the socio-economic part of the RDPE. The Agency will deliver the objectives for the following themes:

One NorthEast is currently finalising a full delivery plan for the funding. This will make the best use of intermediaries to ensure RDPE has maximum impact, and that delivery is brought closer to its customers. Until the plan is published here, you will find information about delivery of some of the first investment projects under the themes above.

One NorthEast is also responsible for delivering part of the RDPE through the LEADER approach. This provides opportunities for community-led development. For more information on LEADER and its delivery arrangements please click here.
