How do I access RDPE Funding?
RDPE will be delivered by three different organisations Natural England, Forestry Commission and One North East.
Natural England and the Forestry Commission will be responsible for the Natural and Cultural Assets theme. This comprises of the agri-environment schemes including Environmental Stewardship (ES) and the English Woodland Grant Scheme (EWGS).

One North East will be responsible for the socio-economic part of RDPE including RDPE Business Support. The Agency will deliver the following programmes:
- Micro-Business Development
- Collaborative Processing and Marketing Fund
- Land-Based Skills Programme
- Bioenergy Supply Chain Development
One North East is also responsible for delivering part of the RDPE through the LEADER approach. This provides opportunities for community-led development. For more information on LEADER and its delivery arrangements please click here.
