The LEADER Areas

In North East England there are five LEADER areas:

• Northumberland Uplands
• Northumberland Coast and Lowlands
• North Pennine Dales
• East Durham

A fifth LEADER area, the North Yorkshire Moors Coast and Hills Partnership, will cover the Tees Valley and North York Moors National Park. This LEADER group is jointly funded by One North East and Yorkshire Forward, with the daily management undertaken by Yorkshire Forward.
