Land-Based Skills Programme

The aim of this programme is to improve the profitability and competitiveness of the businesses in the land-based sector. The programme will focus on a range of skills development needs identified by industry stakeholders.

Courses cover practical and technical work, animal health and welfare, technology, resource management, marketing and promotion, supply chain efficiencies and management and leadership. Up to 70% of your training costs could be covered, pending eligibility.

This programme will be managed by LANTRA, the sector skills agency for the environmental and land-based sector. Details of all forthcoming courses and events will be available through Business Link North East.
